The National Science and Technology Award Conference was held in Beijing on Jan. 8. Sinopec won three First Class National Science and Technology Progress Awards, two Second Class National Technical Invention Awards and one Second Class National Science and Technology Progress Awards.

The projects honored with First Class National Science and Technology Progress Awards include High-Efficiency Exploration and Development of Fuling Marine Shale Gas Field, High-Efficiency All-Process Scheme for Methanol to Olefin (S-MTO), and Large-Scale Coal Chemical Technology Development and Application for Coal-to-Liquids/Olefin.
